Dr. Srivastava is a senior advisor for innovation in public health at LEHS-WISH India. He is a former Senior Policy Analyst at the Policy Unit, NIHFW, a former Chairman at the Board of Governors Medical Council of India and retired Director General of Health Services Government of India. He is DNB (PMR)/ MS (Ortho.) / MBBS with 45 years of experience in Health Policy Planning- System Development, Project and Program Management. Dr. Srivastava worked with premier agencies public health research, Assistive Technologies, IPR/Patent, Medical Technologies, PoC development, disability care, AI/ML application, digital health and introduction of public health innovations for improving primary care in rural/urban health.
He also worked with premier Health Institutions, Governments Bodies, Regulatory bodies and Specialized Agencies of UN like WHO, UNICEF and ILO. He is a valued contributor to key strategic initiatives with a distinction of revamping Primary Health Care and medical education, attended 10 WHA/EC meetings, and several TAG meetings of WHO and other international organization. His high integrity makes him a energetic leader known for ability to envision and create successful outcomes in complex multicultural environment. He brought about tech-supported medical education reform and is working now for Tech-Health applications in healthcare.
